BASEBALL, STEROIDS, LIES

I love baseball and most baseball players. I don’t know much about steroids. I hate lying!

Roger Clemens is a great baseball player. He may or may not have used steroids. It sure looks like he is a liar!

Every game comes with a set of rules. But we often find ways around the rules.

We find ingenious ways to lie by not telling the truth. When caught breaking the rules, we become so busy protesting our innocence—“You don’t think I’d lie do you?”—that we don’t even notice our lack of integrity.

Don’t turn on the television set today expecting to see and hear much news. It is all about one thing—Congress' investigation into the use of steroids in baseball.

They keep saying, “Somebody is not telling the truth.” I personally do not believe that anybody involved is telling the truth. In fact, I think they are incapable of telling the truth! No, it’s not Bill and Hillary on trial; it’s Roger Clemens and his former trainer.
