A LIVING PRAYER

Saturday, October 04, 2008

Jay Leno doesn't usually have someone on his show to perform this type song--but he did this time and I want you to see and hear it. I view it as a sermon in song. Please listen to all of it and give special attention to how Jay and his audience (which is usually a "tough, politically correct" group) respond to Alison Krauss, Union Station and the song. She planted the seed. I trust God to give the increase.

What a beautiful song. I am so excited that Jay Leno had this group perform on his show. Amazing.

Does that give you chills or what? By the way, when I get to Heaven, that is what my singing will sound like. :)

I was listening to Fox News this afternoon when they had a story about the churches and synagogues (sp?) of New York City noticing a lot of new people there in the past few weeks. Hmmmm...

Praise the Lord!!!

So happy that Father God gave Alison such a heavenly voice, He knew that she would sing that song to Him one day on national TV. Let's pray that all that heard the truth during the show and the millions of viewers that watched choose to turn to Jesus.

Just last evening in Birmingham, AL I heard her sing, so when I read your post I was moved.

Jesus-our living prayer,
Karen

Thanks, Cliff, for posting her song. What a lovely song and testimony before the world. God is up to something when something like this happens.

I always thank God and smile when He is able to move in the world in a way like this. The people think they are getting "pop" music and instead get something beautiful in honor and praise to the Lord! :-)

Thanks for stopping by today. I wanted you to know that as soon as my connection improves..uggh..I am excited to watch this. After seeing Fireproof this week..I am just excited about how God tells Satan, "You don't have any power over ANYTHING, BUDDY!!! NOT EVEN HOLLYWOOD!!!" As my buddy Tony Nolan says, "Go GOD!!!"

That was so amazing and beautiful. Alison is a talented young woman, my prayer is for more young artists to share their love of Christ. It's very, very difficult in hollywood and nashville to do that. Thank you for sharing Clif.

Blessings,
Kathi :)

This reminds me of an interview with Diane Sawyer and Whitney Houston. Whitney was enmeshed in troubled relationships and times in her life. They were at an outside event. Diane wanted her to sing one of her hits. However, Whitney decided to sing Amazing Grace. Diane looked like she didn't know what to do. The anointing on Whitney's song was powerful. People were weeping and lifting their hands in praise!

What a terrific song, Clif! I love how God sneaks in!
