FOUNTAIN HILLS FESTIVAL OF THE ARTS

Friday, November 14, 2008

One of the largest arts and crafts festivals in the United States.

The fountain shoots higher into the sky than any other fountain in the world—or so I’m told.

Thousands of people come from all over the United States.

If it’s an art or a craft and you can’t find it here, you don’t need it.

The weather is fantastic!

My wife bought my birthday present at the festival today. I will post a picture of it in a few days.

We walked more today than we have in a year.

I’m tired now. I have to go lay down. (Uh, oh, my wife just called for me to come downstairs and hang up my birthday present. Lying down will have to wait. Man, I’m tired).

Cliff,

I had tacos for dinner tonight and my dietition is a Type 1 who takes a little piece of chocolate with her in her lunch each day. :)

She's always telling me diabetics can eat almost anything but in small amounts.

The only thing I'm not allowed (unless my blood sugar level is low and I'm trying to bring it up quickly) is regular pop (aka: soda in the rest of the world) which they say no one should be drinking.

On the other hand, I ate some cookies this week. That was not a good thing. Can't get away with that.

The festival sounds great. We're expecting our first snow this weekend.

When I saw the comment by Brenda, I thought that I might be in the wrong place, but...

Happy Birthday, Cliff! I'll bet you got a picture!

I love craft shows! Haven't been to one in a long time. You are a good sport to go with Charlotte!
