BLUE MONDAY MORNING COMING DOWN

Monday, April 06, 2009

Here it is--my first Blue Monday post.

The main reason I am posting this today is because smilingsal encouraged me to and I never want to disappoint her. Also, blue is my favorite color and books are one of my favorite things.

This first picture is of some of the blue books upstairs in my study. They are on a blue striped couch.

This second picture is of a few of the blue books in our family room. They are on a blue chair and a blue footstool.
I buy books for their content--not their color. But these are pretty blue books, aren't they?

Oh, I could live the rest of my life in those two rooms. Just throw in a sandwich every now and again! Thanks for sharing. Happy 1st Blue Monday.

Wonderful blue books! There is something very appealing about a blue book, isn't there? Thanks for sharing.

Blessings,

You certainly have captured the Blue Monday spirit in this post! It's amazing how much blue there is in the world when we look for it. :)

You sure have a lot of blue books! I haven't noticed that many of my books being blue, I'll have to pay attention.

Have a great week!

Hi Clif! Thank you for stopping by my Palm Sunday post yesterday. Ms. Daisy, my Mother, was nice enough to alert the Spiritual Sunday folks. I probably wouldn't have had many comments if she hadn't. It was great to see them all in my email in-box!

I love the song that is playing "Rhapsody on a them by Pagnini"...great selection!

Oh my ... now I'm challenged to go find some green (my favorite color) books too! How fun.

I recognized some of those titles. Oswald Chambers is a fav, and Josephus always stirs my imagination.

Be blessed,
Kathleen

Hi Clif,
It's like being in a beautiful and colorful library! Just perusing the titles, makes me want to reach out and pick one up and start reading! All I can say is: wow - great Blue Monday post!

Hi Clif,
Those books look so inviting! I love to read. You have quite a list of good ones it seems.

Speaking of books - I received the book that you so generously gave to me. I am really looking forward to reading it! It looks like a good one. The title says it all - "A Work in Progress - An Unfinished Woman's Guide To Grace" - that is definitely what I am - a work in progress! :-)
Thank you so much again for your thoughtfulness. I will let you know what I think about it as I get into the pages. I plan on cracking it open this afternoon!
Blessings to you,
Kymber
