HE IS ALWAYS WITH YOU

EVERYTHING SEEMS TO BE GOING FROM BAD TO WORSE.

That's the message that you hear on the morning, noon and evening news.

The front page of the newspaper declares it.

There are days that I wonder if it can get any worse. I begin to wonder about myself.

And then I remember what Paul said in Philippians 1:6 "Being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus."

And then I smile, say a little prayer of thanksgiving and move on with HOPE.

Hi Clif, Thank you so much for stopping by and reading my story for Outdoor Wednesday. I am so glad you liked it. I will never, as long as I live forget the look on Daddy's face when he turned around and saw 100's of yards of fishing line all over the brush he trolled through. He didn't know whether to scream or die laughing. He just quietly cut my line, and told me I was done fishing. We laugh so hard today. We truly do. Did you scroll down and read my other Outdoor Wednesday post about my lemon tree? I really don't consider myself a writer but I had so many people comment on that. It was so touching I guess and they just keep insisting I write a children's book about it. I'm still considering it. I like sharing my life stories, and every so often I am going to throw one on my blog. Now I have to know Clif where in Oklahoma were you from? All of my family lives in Enid. My husband's are scattered some Enid, some Oklahoma City, Chickasha and Mountain View. We know the area quite well. What a small word my friend. Thanks so much for stopping by and for sharing with me today. Country Hugs, and please stop by again soon. I would so love to have you come by. Sherry

Clif,

This is too true! It is one of the reasons why I avoid watching the news and reading the newspaper. It can be downright depressing not to see any good in the world anymore.

We know it's there, it just doesn't make the news.

Love and Hugs ~ Kat

With Jesus our companion, it's only going to get better!

Shall I expect a Blue Monday post on your recycling efforts?

Yes we must have HOPE!! and walk with HIM in trust no matter what the reports are. This is definately something I am learning about more and more! Especially when it comes to my Dad ~ I see his walk with the Lord literally transforming before me and I just can't stop crying. It has been the best gift and gives me such hope even though his health reports or not good. It is the eternal that matters most! Thankyou for your prayers ~ I truly covet them!!

love to you and Charlotte!

Amen. The only thing that keeps me going from day to day is my faith and trust in Christ. He is our hope.
