COFFEE

Some people know all about coffee.

I know almost nothing about coffee.

If I remember correctly, I started the drinking habit when I was a young, ignorant college student. Somebody probably told me it would help me stay awake for those late night cramming sessions before a Greek exam. Or maybe it was after the Greek exam and I was trying to dull the pain.

As young marrieds, Charlotte and I didn't drink much coffee. We were probably too lazy or too out of it in the morning to fool with it. But as the years passed we began to drink more and more and now I wouldn't say we are addicted but we do want our coffee in the morning. But that's about it---coffee in the morning.

We drink flavored coffee with exotic names. I like the names more than the coffee. I think I prefer just regular coffee with nothing added. Just dark and fairly strong. Charlotte knows this but she continues to buy the flavored kind. Oh sure, she cares about what I like--just not that much.

As I stated in the beginning of this post, I don't know much about coffee. I would like to know more about it and if I ever find time (small chance of that) I think I will investigate and study the subject.

How about you? Are you are big coffee drinker? Do you have a head full of knowledge about coffee?

Do you care about coffee at all?  Do you wish you hadn't even wasted time with this post?

Tell me about it. Whatever it is. You will feel better.

I tried to drink coffee once, and I hated it! Even tried the flavoring. I don't have a "head full of knowledge about coffee," but I did get coffee spilled on my head when I was little. lol

I, too, LOVE coffee ... the stronger the better :)

And yes, I like the occasional flavor ~ to include my "once-a-year" Starbucks splurge ~ but not that often to upset DH's apple cart. LOL.

Fun post, Clif!

Oh my goodness! I could go on and on with this one! LOL My husband is COFFEE S.N.O.B.!!! He could seriously become one of those people who grow it, roast it, etc. Our coffee pot is one of those that reaches a certain temperatutre SO THAT the coffee is PERFECT. (It cost a ridiculous amount) My husband buys our beans each week and we DO NOT like flavored cofffee. I call that froo froo coffee LOL and we don't drink it EVER! Our grinder for the beans is a specific one as well and has a specific setting for how you want the coffee to taste. It can all get very complicated buy my DH does an amazing job and trust me.... OUR COFFEE TASTES SOOOO GOOD!!
Wish we could all sit and have a cup together one day!! Now that would be heaven! :)

Told you I could go on and on ;)

I like a cup of coffee in the morning; it's a sort of jump-start. Hubby always brings coffee home when he comes home from work. We enjoy sitting and sipping on our coffee as we listen to one another talk about our day. I don't know if it's the coffee as much as just spending time with the one I love. Oh, and the coffee has to be black!!
