AMEN PAUL, AMEN

The Apostle Paul wrote these words:
We are pressed on every side by troubles, but we are not
crushed. We are perplexed, but not driven to despair.
We are hunted down, but never abandoned by God.
We get knocked down, but we are not destroyed...So
we don't look at the troubles we can see right now,
rather, we fix our gaze on things that cannot be seen.
For the things we see now will soon be gone, but the
things we cannot see will last forever.
                                                                                         2 Corinthians 4:8-9,18

No one is exempt from trouble. But God doesn't want you to live in depression. Depression comes sometimes but you can find healing as you call on God, remembering these wonderful words from Paul.

    I love how the Holy Spirit moves in Spiritual Sundays. This week one of the recurrent themes is to not worry or fret, but to rather let go and let God. AMEN!!!!!!

    When our daughter died many days all I could do was whisper scriptural promises over and over. I was so thankful I memorized so many of them. It was those beautiful promises that brought me healing. One of my favorites "And the ransomed of the LORD shall return and come to Zion with singing; everlasting joy shall be upon their heads; they shall obtain gladness and joy, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away" Isaiah 51:11.

    The older I get, the more I see this. Things that I thought were critical 30 years ago are of no importance to me now.
