Mr. Metcalfe uses only the masculine tense here but I'm sure if he was writing this today, he would include women as well. We are grateful for all those who have served our country well. And when we think of those who have loved us and died for us
we remember Jesus. This weekend, especially on the Lord's Day, we remember that
He died for our sins--and we are grateful.
