We celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary in 2008. Our children helped us celebrate with an all expense paid all arranged vacation In Hawaii.

I am not always the clearest of thinkers and writers. Sometimes I do not communicate what I feel in my heart.
Yesterday I wrote that I want our President to succeed. I do! I want him to be successful in leading the country in everything that is right and good. I want him to fail in all of his liberal endeavors. I despise Socialism, abortion, and a long list of other liberal things that all Christians stand against.
If he fails in his endeavors to lead us out of our financial mess we are in a world of hurt. Can God allow him to lead us in the things that are right and defeat him in the things that are wrong? I sincerely believe that He can and I pray that He will!
May God bless all of us, including our President.

I believe that God is in control - in all things. He even used heathen kings, in Bible times, to do His will. So I know with God, that all things are possible.
You and Christine are on the same page. Maybe it is because I have heard so many Christians say the same thing, I knew what you meant.
However, I guess I think that since we are at the feet of the statue that Daniel told us about, God may use Obama to bring things to an end and then the ten nations could arise.
We are living in exciting days. I hope we will leave before the excitement does.
I couldn't agree more with your thoughts here. I want the President to success in the things that are right for us and the country and fail in the things that go against God's will. Yes, God is in control, thankfully!!
I think the same way Cherdecor does...that we are in the end times and, sadly, our beloved country will have to take a backseat to Europe and this is just the beginnings of the "birth pangs."
I'm worried, but I'm praying the same way.
