When World War ll ended, an inscription was discovered on the wall of a cellar in Cologne, Germany, where Jews had hidden from the Nazis. The inscription read:I believe in the sun even when it is not shining.
I believe in love even when feeling it not.
I believe in God even when He is silent.
No matter how dark the night, how dense the clouds, or how total the eclipse, the sun is still at the center of our solar system, shining. So is God. Even though we can't see evidence of him through a miraculous sign or hear guidance from him through a prophetic voice, he is still there, in the center of all things. And he is still shining!

Though you have not seen Him, you love Him; and even though you do not see Him now, you believe in Him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy!!!!!
Blessings to you my friend!
That is truely an awesome example of faith!
Beautiful post, Clif! We can learn so much from others. Have a wonderful weekend.

Thank you for sharing this, Clif!
amen!
Great example! He never moves from us, only we move away from Him!
That inscription so speaks to us! Thanks for posting it. The time will come if it hasn't already, when we will have to trust God in desparate situations. We must choose to trust.
Great post, Clif. He never leaves us or forsakes us.
Blessings,
Joan
An encouraging post, and so true. Thank your for sharing this! :)
Oh those words are so amazing. To know that God is there no matter what humans may do to each other. No matter what we may live through...
A lot of power in these words. God bless!
That is beautiful, Cliff. And I always love your pretty music. Thanks for your sweet visits. Blessings ~
I believe our heavenly Father loves it when we believe Him in the silence and stand in faith!
Thank-you Clif, this sounds like a wonderful book.
Blessings,
Ginger
What can separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am persuaded .....nothing shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus.
Romans 8:35-39
Thanks for sharing!
I had that poem on my kitchen wall and I loved it. My daughter had it now on hers because she loved it too. Thanks for bringing it to me again.
