BUT GOD

One of my favorite passages in all of God's Word is Genesis 50:20

"But as for you, you thought evil against me;
But God meant it unto good..."

BUT GOD!

Yes, God makes the difference.

What was happening to Joseph was evil. But God meant it unto good.

Another of my favorite Scriptures is Romans 8:28

"And we know that God causes everything
to work together for the good of those
who love God and are called according 
to his purpose for them."

I draw strength from these verses everyday.

GOD IS GOOD!

I happened upon your wife's blog - which led me to yours. Your "goulash and baloney" quip made me chuckle and reminds me of my Dad's "quirky" sense of humor. I love it!

And then you wrote of Genesis 50:20 -- a verse close to my heart. A few years ago, my husband and I experienced a "you thought evil against me, but God intended it for good" situation. God opened up a door of ministry in which we would never have dreamed of having first-hand knowledge and involvement.
