When the heat climbs to 115 around here it’s time to start headin’ west.
Well maybe not this year!
It’s well over 100 degrees over on the West coast now and the whole state seems to be on fire—literally.
Pray for rain? Nah! It won’t do any good. The monsoons will come when they get good and ready and they will only make things worse. The thunder will scare the dogs, cats, little children and old ladies and the lightening will set things on fire. The humidity will make it seem twice as hot and we will not be able to say to our complaining visitors, “It’s a dry heat.”
What I will do is stay in the house and pray for the air-conditioner to keep working.
