Everyday we walked from the dorm to the Bean (cafeteria) several times. As we walked we discussed many things—but always we discussed sports and athletes.
Regardless which athlete we talked about, if he was outstanding, Ray always said, “I think he’s a member of the church”—meaning the

I hope one of them wins too and I don’t really care which one. However, it has nothing to do with them being members of the
Like Ray, I also love the members of the Churches of Christ. They are good people. But unlike Ray, I don’t think they are THE CHURCH. The church is made up of those who have accepted Christ as their Lord and Saviour and have become the sheep of his pasture, regardless of which pasture they are in.

Right! And, to be a member of God's family, we do not have to do anything more than put our faith in Him. I'm so glad that I don't have to work my way into Heaven; I'm going by Grace!
I think it's so wonderful when athletes are Christians and profess it, what role models!
Yes, Taylor, my grandson, loves chili dogs, hamburgers, and coconut pie!! Must be a Nov 24th thing!! LOL!
My little 2-yr-old grandson (Caden) is coming tomorrow, for several days, I'm so excited he will be with us! He's a lot of fun! Seems like only yesterday 22-year-old Taylor was two, like Caden, they grow up too fast!!
