BOOK REVIEW --THE RIVERS RUN DRY
“To God, whose mercies are new every morning. And Pastor Mark Driscoll of
The story centers on a college girl who suddenly goes missing. This superbly crafted mystery will keep you reading compulsively as hope runs short, the clock runs down, and the rivers run dry. This routine case turns deadly and agent Raleigh Harmon finds her career on the rocks and her life at stake.
One glance at my sidebar and you will see that all the books I have reviewed are of a religious nature. This book is different. It is a mystery that holds the reader in its powerful grip until the very last word. Author Fred Chappell said, “No mystery lover should pass up this novel.” I agree.
I am happy to send this review out with a strong recommendation for this book. More and more, along with my reviews of books on faith and religion, I am going to review novels, memoirs, Christian fiction, and other books of interest to me—and I hope to you.

I never got a book by mistake! How'd ya do that?
That's neat you got it by mistake! I'm working to finish one by Beverly Lewis that is the last in a series so I can move on to the next one from TN.
Have a blessed day!
Thanks for a very good review, Clif. I normally don't read detective novels but you made this one sound absolutely riviting!

Yes, I just saw that I spelled riveting wrong! LOL!
Hi Clif,
I always enjoy reading your book reviews. How do you become an independent book reviewer? I love mystery stories. I'll have to keep this one in mind.
By the way, I received my copy of A Walk With Christ To The Christ yesterday. I can't wait to dig into it. Thanks, again.
Hi Clif,
Just a quick note to tell you I have started reading the book on forgiveness you sent me. Already I can tell it's a wonderful book. I'm a very slow reader, so it may take me a long time to read it. I just finished the last few chapters of The Shack! I was reading while waiting for my husband at Mayo Clinic this week. He will have foot surgery next week, so I'll have some more waiting time and will read more then!
