We celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary in 2008. Our children helped us celebrate with an all expense paid all arranged vacation In Hawaii.

“Connecting At The Heart Level” is the title of an article by Edward Fudge. At the end of the article I found myself almost shouting, “How true.”
People will listen to us, be patient with us, and love us when we connect at the heart level.
We need to sit down and talk to people—young and old. We need to get to know them and let them get to know us. When we do this, they will be our friends and they will stand up for us and defend us even if they do not always agree with us.
We must connect, not just intellectually and we may not even connect intellectually but we must connect at the heart level.
