LOVE YOUR WIFE

Tomorrow, July 11, Charlotte and I will have been married 50 years. I started to write that we have been celebrating all year. The truth is, in one way or another; we have been celebrating for 50 years.

I am impressed with the way Eugene Peterson translates some passages in Ephesians 5:

“…husbands, go all out in your love for your wives…a love marked by giving, not getting…husbands ought to love their wives as their own bodies.”
