We celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary in 2008. Our children helped us celebrate with an all expense paid all arranged vacation In Hawaii.

It’s Saturday morning and I have just been watching the news on television.
It’s all about the economy. The people talking are leaders in this field and they all agree that we are in trouble. However, they do not know what the answer is. They offer no help!
I like what the author of Psalm 121 said. He said he looked up!
“I lift up my eyes to the hills—
where does my help come from?
My help comes from the Lord,
the Maker of heaven and earth.
He will not let your foot slip—
he who watches over you
will not slumber.”
--Psalm 121:1-3

Don't you wonder how people who don't know Him can wake up each morning?
I'm praying this will wake people up to Him and His Sovreignty...tragedy seems to get attention better than anything els...so we as Christians better be ready to explain why and who we believe
The commenter above has a very good point that we need to be reading to explain.
I like this verse. It was one I memorized in my pregnancy and also it was read at my grandfather's funeral.
It's really a shame that most people don't "look up" anymore for solutions.
