It loooks like John McCain may not be the simpleton I though he might be.
He has selected a woman--a conservative, good looking woman as his running mate for Vice President.
Way to go John!
Read my book reviews at your own risk. I have been told that because I am respected by those who read my reviews that I am dangerous to their spiritual well being. Please read my reviews knowing that I am not recommending anything more than what is in my review. If you decide to become a fan of the author, his or her lifestyle, worldview and other things they may write, then please know that is your responsibility and not mine. I love to read and read widely. I have an opinion about what I read and share it on these pages. I do not expect you to appreciate what I write or hold me responsible for anything beyond my words. Let's read and think together with joy. Clif

Charlotte, Charlotte, I never get comments. I knew right off that you were anonymous. Just because I think she is good looking you call me an old goat. And after 50 years of marriage. Shame on you! (By the way there are enough "old goats" out there to carry this good looking woman to victory.
I'm never "anonymous" to you Big Guy.
Thanks for your comments on my blog and I am certainly enjoying yours!
I really got a laugh out of your answer to the anonymous comment.
I listened to "Amazing Grace" as you suggested on "My Chains Are Gone." Beautiful!
How thankful I am for His amazing grace and His mercy.
I think it is neat that you write about "God,goulash,Bible or baloney."
Our lives need some laughter along the way. .
Right now, we that are on the coastline are watching the news as Gustav approaches! We surely need God's mercy and especially New Orleans.

I agree with anonymous. What on earth does her being "good-looking" have to do with her running for VP?
And you actually believe that men will vote for her is because she's good-looking? That's very shallow.
I guess even former ministers like MILF's (I'm sure you'll have to look that term up).
Reply to anonymous: Yep you nailed us "old goats". We do like pretty women!
