You plead and plead and plead. Nothing! Total silence! Lightening doesn’t strike, thunder doesn’t roar—God doesn’t say or do anything.
Matthew 15:21-28 tells the story of a woman who persisted when others would have given up.
Many preachers have led us to believe that God, like a vending machine, will give us what we want, when we want it.
Jesus ignores this woman. He calls her race “a dog.”
God does not always give us what we want. But He will not remain silent. He may be silent for awhile, but if we worship Him and persist in prayer, He eventually will speak.
Read this woman’s story. It’s good!
