Advice. As a preacher for almost fifty years I have given a lot of advice. We live in a world where we are given advice at every turn and from everybody. As I grow older I have taken up the habit of asking this about advice, "Not what, but who?" Who is giving this advice. That's the most important question. This doesn't mean that we cannot get good advice from the wrong person. We can and I have. I will accept truth from any source. But still, the bottom line is--I want to know who is giving this advice?
