SCHOOL BELLS ARE RINGING

Some schools opened their doors this week for another year of learning. Most others will begin classes next week. Every year at this time there is something that tugs at my heart. What is it? Do I just want to relive the past? Is it possible I really do want to keep on learning?

There is nothing in this world more thrilling than learning.

I have the greatest respect for good teachers. A good teacher is one with enthusiasm, joy and patience. I pray that this year’s band of students who drag themselves into the class rooms will have teachers who love their subject and their scholars.

I’m thankful for every good teacher I ever had!
