THIS NOISY AGE

This is “the Age of Noise.” We seem to feel that silence must be avoided at all costs.

You cannot think against this background of noise. You cannot listen against a background of noise. If people are always talking, there is no time to listen.

It is often in silence the greatest things come. We need to remember the words (Psalm 46:10) “Be still, and know that I am God.”
