WAITING ON GOD

Wait? Wait? What do you mean wait? I want what I want and I want it now!

My middle initial is L. It should have been I for impatient.

I have never wanted to wait—not for anything.

Where did this attitude come from? I must have picked it up from my family. It sure didn’t come from the Bible. My nephew and I were just talking yesterday about the fact that the Bible teaches and it certainly proves true in life, that a relaxed attitude helps you live longer. At the rate I’m going, I won’t live very long.

When you wait on God with the right attitude, wonderful things happen.

It’s not enough just to know this—we need to put it into practice. Let’s do it together!
