Fear and uncertainty can be a way of protecting us and challenging us to grow. Yet so many of us have been programmed to believe that uncertainty is a bad thing. What we must remember is that, in our dark times, though we may not see Him, God is always present. Psalm 46:1 says, "He is an ever-present help in a time of need." What a comfort to know this. When I feel Him--and even when I don't--He still IS. When I see his hand in my life and when I don't, His Hand is still on me!

That is a beautiful message and I truly believe that is true. Many times when I have had fears or doubts and come through them, I will look back and think, how could I have felt that way. It makes me stronger and more able to reach out to people with what I have learned
God bless you Anne
Sometimes, we become so afraid because of the many changes that surround us. But we forget that we have a God Who doesn't change. When we are afraid, when we doubt, when we are broken, that's when the power of the cross works best in us. Thank you for sharing this. Happy Anniversary to you and sister Charlotte. God bless.
Amen! on this post Clif. It is so often when I look back on all my difficult challenges life has dealt my way, I see God never left my side. Sometimes it was only me that left.
Happy blessed Anniversary to you and your wonderful wife Charlotte.

Right! It's not about FEELING, it's all about faith.
This is a great scripture. I think I will call Vivian and have her read this. It may comfort her.
God Bless,

Cliff,

Blessings,

That's the reason that FAITH is so very much more important to me than FEELING is. Faith tells me God is with me and loves me, even when I feel so alone and unloved.
Just beautiful and so comforting.
Something we all often struggle to remember...
but once you know it to be true, it's an overwhelming feeling of calm, isn't it?
Blessings to you this beautiful Sunday!
I can sure relate to this right now. Thanks for sharing and have a wonderful Sunday.
Very good words, that book must be a really good one!
