CHOOSE RELATIONSHIP OVER BEING RIGHT

Monday, June 05, 2006

A man who once worked at Grand Canyon University in Phoenix tells the story of how he got two big scratches on his new Ford pickup. He left it sitting in his driveway and his neighbors's basketball goal fell over and put two scratches in one door. A friend asked him what he was going to do about it since the neighbor didn't think it was his fault. He said that at first he was going to get a lawyer but then he thought about it a little longer. He reasoned that although he loved his new truck he figured he was going to have his neighbor longer than he had the truck and he valued the relationship more than proving he was right.

WISE MAN!
