CULTIVATE THAT RADICAL STREAK

It’s hard to be a person of spirit, unless you have a slightly radical streak. That doesn’t mean that you should be a demanding idiot or a dictator.

When your convictions are really convictions you will be a little radical. Don’t be afraid of it. There will be times that you simply cannot stand to see certain things happen.

All lovers of truth are radicals. Don’t seek to squelch this streak. Be glad that you feel strongly on some particular subject.

For example: almost every politician I know drives me up a wall. Not a single one of them has the backbone to stand up for truth. My favorite politician is George W. Bush. However, I am extremely disappointed in his failure to close our borders to illegals.

Just do it, Mr. President—just do it! It needs to be done now—no ifs and buts about it. Stop dancin’ around trying to decide what to do about the ones already here. Deal with them later. Right now, close the darn borders!
