Sing it Willie!

"She's gone, gone, gone, gone, gone, gone
Crying won't bring her back

Each tick of the clock's a reminder
She's gone, gone, gone, gone, gone, gone"

She left on a jet plane........

My wife of fifty-two years has left me here in the desert.

For several days she will be cruising with author Karen Kingsbury, our daughter, my nephew's wife and daughter and a ship load of Christian ladies.

They will have a wonderful time. I wanted her go. But in my head and heart I can hear old Willie Nelson singing:

"She's gone, gone, gone, gone, gone, gone."

Keep us posted on how you're doing. Tip: Don't do the laundry (unless you're good at it.) Make sure the rug is vacumed and the dishes are washed. She will return with hugs and kisses if you do.

Oh Clif!! I sooo wish I was with her! She will have a wonderful time and I CANNOT wait to hear all about it!! Oh to meet Karen is such a dream !!!

I know Charlotte will miss you like crazy but I also know how very much she must appreciate your encouraging her to go and spend some serious girl time! What a gem you are!!!

Enjoy your time! Sometimes being a bachelor can be fun.....especially when you know there is an end to it! ;)

I looooove Willie Nelson, but can't place this song. (Yet?!?)

'Was going to make a silly suggestion along the lines of junk food and bare-feet-up-on-the-coffee table -- but sense that doesn't sound very appealing right now?

I suspect you're already planning a marvelous surprise homecoming!

Hi Clif,
Just came by to listen to the music (By the Waters of Babylon!)and read about what's been on your mind lately. I'm glad Charlotte is enjoying some girl time with your daughter and pals.
