We celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary in 2008. Our children helped us celebrate with an all expense paid all arranged vacation In Hawaii.

Attention is one of the most powerful forces in the world.
One of the great miracles of life is that God pays attention to us.
This is partly why the writers of Scripture speak so often of God's face.
To turn your face toward someone is to give that person your whole-hearted, undivided attention.
It is not the casual listening of a preoccupied mind. It is a statement: "I have nothing else to do, nowhere I'd rather be. I'm fully devoted to being with you."
This is the kind of attention God lavishes on us.

Isn't that so true of God. He always has time for us. Time to listen, time to laugh, and time to cry with us.
We never hear those words, "Give me a minute will you, or I am busy right now, how about later or tomorrow?"
Thank goodness He doesn't and always stops what He is doing and just is with us, right at the very moment. Love it!

Just as our childrens faces light up with delight when we give them our full attention and they can say whatever is in their hearts with joy knowing we are looking at them and listening, really listening.

The more I'm reading the bible the more I'm realizing how important those little words are that mean so much. Like "face." Good post.
I don't know to many people that do this, it is an art thats for sure. It is a blessing to me knowing that God give me the attention that I desire.
