TRUE FRIIENDS LEAVE FOOTPRINTS ON YOUR HEART

Thursday, August 06, 2009

We all need that special person we can count on, no matter what.

So if you don't have someone whom you can love and rely upon, ask God to bring someone to you.

Everyone who accomplishes something extraordinary has had encouragement from someone.

Being a friend to someone is one of the best gifts you could give, reaching out in love and in kindness.

The key? Show your friends how much you care, and you will have friends for life!

Express gratitude to God for someone who has enriched your life in an extra-special way. Then, tell that person how much you love and appreciate him or her. By doing so, you will have begun a chain of goodness that can be passed on and on and on.

Clif,

This is so especially true in our times. Friends are things that need to be treasured and valued as well as cared for like all great things should be.

If we take friends for granted, they may not be there when you really and truly need them.

Cllif,

This is oh so very true!

Friends are a gift and a treasure! I love Michael W. Smiths song...Friends are friends forever if the Lords the Lord of them! Friendships in the Lord are the best!

blessings to you my friend!

How curious ...
While getting ready for work this morning I felt the urge to pop in one of my old (Unity) cassettes. What do you know, the topic was the gift of friendship. Funny how your mind jumps to one particular individual, regardless of the many miles between. Thank you for posting this sweet reminder to give thanks!

We all need encouragers, and we all can be encouraging to others.

Clif,
I just love this...just last night a friend came to me with a heartache and later emailed to thank me for "being there for her." It really does enrich your life to be a friend and to HAVE Christian friends. A friend has done this for me in the past and I am grateful that I can pass it on.
Thanks!
